Jitter Appears to Crash when opening help MXJ

March 30, 2011 | 9:16 pm

We have a macbook and macbook pro, with snow leopard that are experiencing this type of crash often. We have been able to narrow it down to the following steps

1) Create a new maxpatch
2) Create an empty ‘mxj’ , no parameters
3) Right-click and choose Help

I believe when it is starting up the JVM and loading up jitter, the system crashes with the following stack. Looks like some sort of memory corruption.

Full details from the mac is the attached crash log.
