Even the references/help act the same so it can't be patch fault.

I'm using max 5 on windows 8 and i have max 6 on windows 7. I thought maybe something was wrong with version 5 but on max 6 it is the exact same problem with a fresh install on windows 7. Which leads me to believe there is a video card/driver problem at hand or setup specific to my laptop that must be wrong? I have a standard integrated intel graphics on I3 2310m processor.

Any help or suggestion would be very much appreciated!

do you have quicktime installed?
do you have a Jitter authorization for your Max 5?
