jitter, opacity of quicktime

Hi

Trying to do what I thought would be pretty simple (it probably is but I’m not finding the info I need) which is vary the opacity / visibility of a quicktime in a jit.window. I think jit.alphablend is the way to go but the help only provides info on how to affect the rgb (the chroma) of the video. Is there a way to change the opacity? What am I missing which is probably really simple here?

I would use a videplane ovject and vary it’s alpha via the color
attribute. Smothing like:

jit.gl.videoplane ctx @transform_reset 2 @blend_enable 1 @blend_mode 6
1 @color 1 1 1 [alpha]

Hi, thanks for this, I think I’ll use jit.gl, seems like a good idea as a jit.qt.movie going straight to a jit.window seems limited. thanks again.
