How are these used? Connecting signals to the hi res inputs and outputs doesn't allow audio to pass, usually. Are these only to be used with other hi res objects? Is the hi res functionality present when connecting to the regular inlets and outlets?

i use them for playing sound smoothly from a long buffer~ using hr.play~. otherwise it sounds degraded due to rounding errors. theres some examples with the download
