When querying js observers with an id, it will send out all initial values of the observed ids.

Im wondering whether it is possible to detect when js is initialising observers vs when js is actually observing those ids? Is there something I can output with the initialised ids?

is_observing will be false when the first call is made to setup the callback (which actually happens when you make the assignment to 'property') and true for everything else after that...

obsids[i].property = "value";
obsids[i].is_observing = true;
