JSUI UI code library?

September 6, 2006 | 1:23 pm

Hi list,

I’ve been working on library of js code for JSUI that can handle things like simple, drawn openGL buttons, buttons with images, and buttons with text labels. It’s designed for making complete GUIs in JSUI, as opposed to individual JSUI nuggets like the excellent mattsui objects. I’m thinking of releasing it under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.5/) license.

It’s almost ready to go, except for example files. Now, I’d like to see if there’s any interest in such a thing. And if anyone would volunteer to beta-test, and add some criticism of it.

I am tentatively releasing the beta version with a limited example patch but full code API at:

Best,
Evan

Hey that’s great. Lots of interest. I’ll give it a try.
This is just what the doctor ordered…

Thanks

Stefan
