I am using the Ableton API with Max 5 patches and am having a couple issues.

I want to use tabs, and other Max UI objects, instead of a series of JSUI objects but can't figure out how to convert the JSUI messages. What it's putting out now is -->

but I want to get words, so i can set them in on tabs. Does anyone know how I can do this? I tried to go through the JSUI_text file but don't know JS enough to figure it out.

Also, my track titles will update in real time, but my clips titles don't. I have to update the clip titles by hand, and renaming in Ableton doesn't auto update. If anyone has used this combo and has some tips i would appreciate it. thanks
