JUCE library

January 15, 2007 | 8:29 pm

Has anyone tried building plug-ins using the JUCE library (for C++)?

http://www.rawmaterialsoftware.com/juce/

This is the part that caught my eye:

"The Juce Audio Plugin toolkit allows a single audio plugin class to be compiled for a variety of plugin formats – currently it supports VST (PC), VST (Mac), and AudioUnit (Mac), with plans to add RTAS in the future."

First I’ve heard of this, looking for opinions…

Cheers,
Leigh

Remy Muller (at Ircam) is actually working on some plug-in using
Juce. He seems really happy with that. You can contact him if you
want more info.

Yes, the Juce Audio Plugin Framework is really handy.

For more info check out the Juce Forum http://www.rawmaterialsoftware.com/juceforum/

well, there’s nothing like Ircam as whole working with JUCE.

I work with it both on a current Ircam project and on the upcoming version of LiveCut.
