I'm trying to use jit.gt.record to record a 120fps video coming in through jit.dx.grab. I would use the write feature of dx.grab but max is unable to play back that video because of the ms-yuv compression. So I'm opting out and using jit.qt.record. But when I record the video then play it back, it appears frames are being dropped. I'm not very familiar with the qt.record so I figure I just have something set wrong, but another thing I noticed was if I put the jit.qt.record resolution to 640x480 my fps drop drastically when i begin recording. Any advice?
