I'd like to have keyboard shortcuts to the features in my patch but the textedit object seems to work only when clicked upon. I guess I want to know if there is an object that will respond to my keyboard even if not clicked upon.

for example, I'd line to make it so DSP turns on when the space bar is pressed. I want to have keyboard shortcuts. Where to start?
