kinect hand recognition

November 7, 2011 | 6:03 pm

hello kinect hackers.
I was wondering is you knew a tool that could track the shape of a hand?
For instance, a tool that could tell if the hand is rotating, if fingers are spaced or not, if hand is open or not?
I may ask a lot, but I’m just curious.
I’ve already heard of synapse, for example, that can give me hand position via OSC but I don’t know if a more detailed hand recognition tool exists?
thank you

thanks a lot benoit, but is there any hand recognition tool in the cv.jit?
alersito, thanks again, but I’m on a mac and this tool is for pc. I’m not especially
interested in touch screen, I would like to track hand shape in a 3 dimension space. But thanks anyway, it is still an interesting link.
