Know when movie is done (bang?)

July 23, 2006 | 1:11 am

I simply want to know when a movie has reached it’s end. I could use ‘getframecount’ to know how many frames there are in a movie, then poll using ‘framedump’ – the problem with this is that the constant polling makes the video/audio (moreso the audio) stutter, which is unacceptable for me.

Any ideas to know when the movie has reached it’s end? Seems like there should be some "bang on end" type of thing, no?
