kslider colour change problem

September 28, 2006 | 1:00 am

if i send a note number and a color message to a monophonic kslider simultaneously, seems the note graphic wont change position, though it changes colour. am i doing something wrong? annoyingly limits the object…

Well, for starters, you’re NOT sending them simultaneously. Time to read up on that basic order of operation stuff. And perhaps you
might want to consider looking at the trigger object, while you’re at it.

Speaking about sliders and colors, is there any hope to have [nslider]
colorized (especially the background)? I tried to hack the resources,
but it’s not very safe, handy, nor portable.

That was my knee-jerk reaction too (to add a deferlow), with or
without the trigger, but it still doesn’t work; now the note changes,
but the color does not….

My bad, it DOES change color too, it was just subtle and I missed it
the first time round.

i know trigger! it just doesnt work in this case. yeah, it seems to take a while to accept note data after a colour change. i’m not clear what deferlow actually does. if i have several deferlow objects in my patch, which lets stuff through first?
