launchpad plus other related questions.

howdy,

been recently working back on my good ol’ launchpad and am running into some thoughts and minor walls.

the first thing which is 98% done is missing the last 2%
i have a sequence going for the launchpad, but instead of the sequence running on say the top grid [where it has user 1 etc], i want it to run on where the 64 grid is, but also at the same time use the grid to key in sequences.
so it has both the sequence marker and the hits.
the one problem i am running into is the updating of the grid to the launchpad. i can key a hit in, but when the sequence comes back around it wipes the hit off the launchpad, though it stays on [live.grid]
plus, is there an object just like [gswitch] but without the gui? i guess it would of been switch but does not work the same.

the second is working with pages for the launchpad.
this is one i have had some dealing with but always run into some form of trouble. i just want to be able to make the launchpad into 32 steps/64.
if there is any examples. please let me know, though the first problem is more important.

many thanks to someone who could help me

please share do. I have been working with a Lpad for about a month now and have a few nagging problems with it. I am using the top row of buttons as a step indicator and the grid for samples playing though. I don’t quite get the double buffer part of it but have been slightly avoiding working that out by concentrating on other bits of the patch.

Anyway would be interested to have a goosey gander.
