I have (with some help) programmed the attached patch for max4live.

It basically is a patch on user mode 2 which will light up some bars on the launchpad and send out midi notes when done so.

- Now there are 8 horizontal bars of lights, how would I create 4 squares 4x4? What would be the mathematical formula?

- How can I program it so that Midi Learning the launchpad bars/squares in Ableton would not deactivate the lights?
