lcd causes audio glitches

July 10, 2006 | 3:23 pm

when i’m triggering a sound, and redrawing a graphic with lcd simultaneously, the lcd redraw seems to cause a glitch in my audio, a slight delay, or click. is there a way to avoid this? or some setting i can change? i am already in overdrive mode

no idea without a patch, but maybe defer, or deferlow the drawing
commands to force drawing to happen on a different thread (I believe
thats what should happen). Random guess.

seems hardly possible that one sees audio interrupt
from messages.

or is it something extremly big wat you are doing there
with quickdraw?

use qlim if possible, else deferlow to make the drawing happen in the low priority que thread… if your patch allows it u might use qlim with a few ms for the argument.
