Is there a PDF version of the documentation that I can just read from beginning to end (probably on my iPad)? I’m finding it very difficult to get up to speed with Max using the existing documentation, having to jump around, etc, etc — there doesn’t seem to be any “next page” mechanism

Thanks

There’s no pdf version of the documentation, but you can browse it from Safari with your iPad from C74 website (Learn->documentation).

You can also copy the docs folder inside the patches folder and brows the docs locally in Safari. My main bookmark is:
file:///Applications/Max5/patches/docs/refpages/m4l-ref/m4l_live_object_model.maxref.xml
This is way better than the LOM inside Max, I can copy text as I am used to, open several tabs etc…
Unfortunately Firefox isn’t capable of diplaying the Max Reference…
