linking two computers to run one patch

Hi, I have two Mac Mini’s that have been allocated for an installation and the patch I have running could really use the processing power of each. So how could use two computers to run one patch? Thanks

i guess it is all about your inputs, outputs and processings you expect.
i would split the patch , if possible , for the various processings . for instance use one machine doing video analysis and processing and the other the sound analysis and processings what is shared between the two machines would be only the data necessary for mutual interactions ( for example results of video analysis used for the sound processes ).

think of it more as two seperate patches dialoguing with each other through UDP or TCP/Ip protocols or via midi ( probably the less efficient option )…
good luck
