live analog video signal into Max/Jitter

March 25, 2009 | 8:52 pm

Hi

can anybody help me to find the right hardware to get a analog video signal (composite) into max/jitter.

I would like to have it via USB.
(because on my firewire port there is the audio interface dealing with 8 to 16 channels)

If there is no USB possibility, what would be a Firewire alternative? (canopus AVDC 110 ?)

Can i handle 16 audio outputs and one composite input on a firewire 400 ?????

I already tryed the pinnacle video capture for mac, and black magic video recorder, both did only work with their own software. Jitter.tester did not recognize them or their signal.

thank you for your halp

all the best

canopus AVDC 110 or magingSource DFG/1394-1e but this last works with a third party driver that you need to buy. The USB model is only for windows.

look at this recent post:
