I have built a patch that adds functionality to Hanz Pertov’s script. However I want to add a feature where I can delete specific notes while holding down a matrix button.

For example I have a DrumRack using 8 cells for drums. I program a beat using the step sequencer, or one of my modified note modes where I can bang out beats on matrix buttons as if they were pads. In this sort of drum pad mode I want to be able to press a matrix button that will delete nots while I am pressing it. So if I bang out some snare hits, and then want to delete them I can just hold a button for the time I want to delete them.

So after reading up on it, I am still at a loss of how to do that?

Any ideas, pointers, etc???
