Is there a way to get folderpaths with live.drop? I prefer it to max’s dropfile because it saves the path of the loaded file when I create a new preset.

Hi, trying to save a folderpath inside a m4l device. Have you succeded to do it with live.drop?

ok. found a little simple workaround.. not elegant though.

drop a file which is inside the folder you want the path and extract the part of the path corresponding to the folder with [regexp (.+)/.+]

Does live.drop work for you in edit mode when you drop a file ? It doesn’t for me, even if it’s ok when I close the edit window?

In edit mode, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t… depending on your Karma of the moment I guest…
