Livid Code – Controller Patch (code included)

October 14, 2012 | 2:47 pm

Hello, I have been working with Livid Code for a a couple of days, and desided to make a controler patch to control my VJ projects within MAX.

The patch is not finished but it is getting there

Bareimage (or should i call you Conan?),
i’ve been drooling over the Code, but the hefty price tag has kept me away. Curious, are the buttons on the Code velocity sensitive? For me that would push me towards skipping a few meals to obtain this tool. Keep up the good work!

Yes Conan the Max Msp Barbarian.

* Buttons are not velocity sensitive. I would suggest getting Livid Code V1 you can still get one at Amazon and I mean one :)
* Novation Noctum while not a lucrative as Livid Code, is the only controller below 100 dollars mark to offer talk back and it is really small. The problem with that controller that it requires software bridge. http://us.novationmusic.com/midi-controllers/nocturn

I will do controller patch for it in a couple of days.

Another choice is Midi Fighter 3D it has Gyro knobs. (Press a button and rotate controller)
Will do the patch for that one as well
