load patch on startup
Hi. Sorry if this is old and lame but how do you get a patch to open (+ start max) automatically when an osX machine is booted / rebooted? I knew how to do this in OS9 but can't figure it out now. Damned newfangledness! just wait till i get a macintel.. ugh!
thanks for tips...! justin.

thanks Jean-Michel
Brilliant, I dont know how I overlooked that (don't have time to poke around in the system preferences I suppose)
salut, justin.
Just make sure when you do that that your sound card is recognized by
Max/MSP. I had bad experiences with a m-audio410 that was never found
by Max when it was launched at startup.
The solution was, of course, to put a delay before Max was launched
(with the help of automator, or a shell script).

hi,
I've also been looking for a way to open a file as well. I'm actually working with runtime, now that it opens on bootup, is it possible to also automatically open my patch?

Why not just add your patch to the login items list?
