Have you tried installing CFM support?

They’re available on Peter Elsea’s site, this was discussed a couple weeks ago:

Nothing for you, it’s for PPC… it was a diversion :-)

If you can’t get mach-o builds of certain externals, you can install
CFM support which will allow old-style builds of externals to work in
max 4.6 unless of course you’re on intel.

Wow – Thanks for that Dan!
i recently moved onto the UB 4.6 from 4.5 on PPC and the only way I could get Lobjects, or indeed any other pre UB object to load was via a manual install in the file menu each time I opened Max
Installing any one Lobject made all Lobjects work – but I would have to do this each time I opened Max. This was with CFM support installed. Maybe I missed something when installing the CFM support…..problem solved with the UBs though. I hadn’t noticed they were out either!
btw – many thanks to many super people here who have helped me through their posts. The archives here are great, so good I rarely post a question myself!

The site is currently down. Would it be appropriate and does anyone have the files available for download from another location? I am using Max/MSP/Jitter 4.6 on a PC with Windows XP. I am a newbie to Max and wondered what files I would need to make Lobjects work with 4.6 on XP?
Thank you very much for your time.
