I was looking to get a shiny new set of Lobjects for Max 5, but the file at ftp://arts.ucsc.edu/pub/ems/Lobjects/Lobjects_2010.dmg.bin seems to be corrupted. Last year on the forum Peter made mention of Lobjects_expo.dmg from the Expo, but I can’t find those anywhere either. Anyone have any leads?

Thanks

You’re using a Mac, right? In the Finder menus, choose Go, then Connect to Server… and paste in ftp://arts.ucsc.edu/pub/ems/Lobjects. You should find Lobjects_2010.dmg there. Drag it to your desktop and double-click to mount it. I couldn’t unpack the dmg.bin either when downloading use your link, but the direct access method works.

Cheers.

I just had the same experience. Getting the DMG with Transmit gave me an unreadable file (it’s not MacBinary), but going through the Finder as described above did the trick!

HTH
