lock by a bang, unlock by a bang coming from elsewhere

Hello,

This morning I figured out that this forum could be helpful, just tell me if I abuse, but I already have another question for you.

It is something pretty simple, and I have not sorted it out with the help of documentation. I may not be good enough at English to understand it correctly.

Whatever. I would like to find an object like a switch which toggles with a “bang” coming through a specific patch cord linked to the object.

But when I say “which toggles”, I mean “which ignores every other bangs coming through the specific patch cord until it receives a bang coming from a different patch cord linked to this object”.

Perhaps, it’s a bit complicated to understand, and if I am not clear, I’ll write it otherwise.

There are lots of different ways to do this. I think I would just have
the “different patch cord” going to a switch or gate that the other
patch cords aren’t connected to, that is then connected to the path of
all the other patch cords. hope that helps.

Its very simple to create such yourself, if I understood you correct,
thats what you’re after (look inside the [p ] object ans save it as
bangate for example):
