Hi all,

I have been playing around with max in the last few days and had so much fun that I decided to write a patch to integrate in an installation I am creating for an upcoming exhibition. With all the help I got from posting desperate questions on the forum and spending the Christmas holidays going through tutorials and patch-references, I have come a long way. And although finding solutions through trial and error is very very satisfying in itself, I have got the feeling that I am really in the very very dark when it comes to actually knowing what I am doing. And so I am looking for a teacher who can help me understand some basics. There are no listed courses in Amsterdam on this website. And the ones I have found on the web and have contacted told me that they need a certain amount of students to start a course and that they would put me on a list.

Honestly, I cannot wait that long. So If you are Amsterdam-based and willing to share your knowledge in exchange for remuneration, let me know.

thanks,

Alexandra

@ Christian,

Yes…private lessons are no problem. Just send me a personal message an we set it up.

I’m working on a intensive course for about 4 whole days starting in march in the centre of Amsterdam with an option of a follow-up coarse. It will deal mainly with max/msp and M4L but if there is interest in Jitter this could be a subject too.

If anyone is interested you can send my a message for more details. I will post a formal announcement next month.
