I have a patch that i made which uses x and y co-ordinates to from Jitter to control the pitch and playback speed of a sound file.

But, instead of the x controlling how fast the song id played i want it to control the seconds it takes to loop back to the start...

at the moment you are using sfplay~ objects inside your colour-name patchers - it's a bit difficult to set the size of loop with sfplay~. check out the helpfile for groove~. you can set a start and end loop point, (in your case, just set the end one) and it'll just happily loop away.
