I’m trying to make a table based sequencer with use of a groove~ object. I want to make it so that i can select loop times, load them into a coll, then recall them in a random order.
My problem is that the groove~ object doesn’t seem to want to cooperate. the numbers are all correct when i unpack the loop times to send to groove~ but for some reason groove~ doesn’t like getting both numbers at the same time. each number on its own will find the right start or end point, but when they arrive together it doesn’t know how to interpret them, leaving the endpoint at the previous start point, etc.
I’ve tried using pipe to delay one of the values to no avail.

Have you tried with the “setloop $1 $2″ message ?
I’d have a massagebox like this :
setloop $1 $2, startloop
