This conference looks pretty interesting! Just wondering if there’s anybody else thinking of traveling from Scotland (Glasgow) to the event? I’ve looked at trains etc. but it would all work out quite expensive. Is this the sort of thing others travel big distances to, or would I be alone in doing so (apart from lecturers ofc)!?
Any advice? I’ve only recently got into Max et cetera (want to get more involved), so would I still be able to get a lot out of an event like this, i.e. would it be worth the expense? Maybe other events are planned further north at some point?
I’m flying in from Denmark. I think this is "the one to attend" for this year.
There’s another thread on it going on in this forum right now, dive in and have a little read, I see both people coming from far away, and people being prohibited by high fares.
For me just the talk from David Zicarelli is worth the trip, but there are so many things in the schedule that I feel I cannot miss.
Thanks for your helpful input Wetterberg. I suppose I should have done a bit more of a thorough search before posting! Looks like I should try and make the trip!
