I am amazed to discover that by means of set loop_end messages to live.object (clip) it is possible to drive the clip end and/or loop end past the physical end of the clip. More importantly, get length messages return the marker positions as opposed to the physical starts and ends of the clips.

Most of my functionality is predicated on accurate responses to "get length" queries. Is there some way via LOM to get the physical end of a clip, or, barring that, to reset the clip start/end to zero and the end of the clip respectively?
