My m4l patch sends everything through udpsend to another max patch which pipes it back to udpsend which the sending patch receives on another port, and pipes to midiout.

Just testing capability to pipe data to external patches, but i'm getting the note in the log:

midiout: extra arguments for message "int" even though the log also shows no extra data.

My udp max patch is receiving ok, but before i proceed to mash up the midi, I need to know it'll pipe back to m4l OK. Any ideas?

I get the same error when using http://www.neilbufkin.com/NB/News/Entries/2012/6/30_Juno106Control_-_Big_Update_by_Fabrizio_Poce.html which also uses udpreceive
