Making Max Runtime the frontmost application?

April 11, 2008 | 5:31 pm

I want to run several programs simultaneously for a sound installation.

Is there a way to ensure that Max Runtime is the frontmost
application in MacOS X, maybe by using the shell object?

Thank you in advance.

I think AppleScript is what you want here. A simple script like this
should do it:
tell Application "MaxMSP"
activate
end tell

best,

Alternately, a simple [topmost 1]–>[thispatcher] will keep the window above other non-topped windows at all times.
