Making sound from a float array that comes from my Java External's outlet

May 26, 2010 | 3:00 pm

Hello,

I’m having difficulties in making a waveform table from the float[] array of defined length that comes out from the external. Can you help me?

Wich way should i go?: a) Spiting out time changing float[] (or multiplied int[]) arrays and then using them to make wavetables , or b) using MSPSignal performable and spiting out sound from within the external.
Seems to me that the b) alternative takes more computation time than a) but i can’t get a) to work.

Any hand is well received,
Javier
