Manipulating 3D objects

February 28, 2008 | 10:34 am

Hey,

Im working on a project in which I use Eyesweb to get data from a dancer. Using OSC I send this data to Max / Jitter in which I want to manipulate a 3D form, depending on the incoming data. I’m getting stuck on ways to manipulate the 3D object. The only thing I came about was adding noice. I’ve linked it i.e. to quantity of motion and it gives a nice effect, but now I want more. Do you know of othe ways of manipulating 3D forms to make my project more interesting?

Kind regards,
Rutger

hi

you could make your dancer control
the attraction points for some 500 3d boids on a scene

Maybe what you want is jitogre. you load maya or blender 3d models with
skeleton animation into jitter and control the movement from your patch.
