Matrixctrl + Image Bug?

May 27, 2008 | 8:17 pm

Hi I tried loading a background/cell picture to my Matrixctrl. It ended up looking quite awful so I wanted to revert back to the old matrixctrl look, only to find that none of the default settings were the same. It’s now black with very faint outlines of red balls where I click on the cell. I had returned everything under "image" in its inspector to default. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do I have to reinstall Max 5 or is there a way to get rid of this without resorting to such extremes?

I’m on a Macbook Pro, Intel Core Duo, OS 10.4.11.

i just got this as well.
i was messing around in the inspector.
all i did was check then uncheck the "has image mask" box an it changed all of the matrixctrl objects in my patch, not just the one that i opened the inspector for. i restarted max and all was fine though.

thanks for sending these along, I can confirm that there is some attribute funkiness with matrixctrl. We will be be looking into it.
