I tried everything, pict, jpg, png... with the inspector or with the bkgndpict message,

but it always stays with the default appearance.

Also the invisible background attribute doesn't seem to affect the object appearance at all

Cell image is completely covering the background image in the default state,

changing the cell image gave me the aspect I was looking for
