max 5 crash on startup

max 5 crash on startup

when i try to open max 5 I get an error message saying Max 5 has stopped working- it just crashes.

this is the error information

Does it crash when you launch the Max Runtime?

yeh the runtime crashes as well

Did you install max to the default folder?

I wonder if the install might have gone wrong due to permissions issues or something.

Perhaps uninstall it, verify that c:Program FilesCycling ’74Max 5.0 is empty. Reinstall it. See what happens. Are you installing as an admin?

still crashes after installing the incremental. I am installing as administrator and it comes up with the same error.
