Max 6.1 and Live 9 beta

I've been trying Max For Live with the Live 9 beta. I was wondering if there would be any big changes in M4L, but only found a few. One being a nice "Show Containing Project" in the M4L toolbar. Is there any other new M4L functionality that people know of? Thanks

there are new api additions, which are listen on a thread in the beta forum. You can also dynamically set the width of a device (see the convolution reverb) and probably more

I also joined the Beta program now. Where can I find this changes list? Do you mean the Ableton Live 9 Beta forum or is there a specific one for the Max Beta?

Saw here that Max6.1 beta is older than 6.0.8, does it have the bug fixes from this version?...

I don't think "Show Containing Project" does what you think it means, at least if you think it means the Live Project. It does appear that there's rudimentary support for Max Projects - a Max for Live device seems to have a Project - but this Project is apparently not saved within Live.

Is it worthwhile getting on the live9 beta program? (hello Nick!) Nick - what changes did you see that are useful for M4L users?

i've been documenting all the changes to the live api here on the beta forum:

i've also written about problems with the new max 4 live project system, for example old devices not properly loading poly~ files and externals, here:
