max 6 is really cool, but i am disappointed that it is still just using the old quicktime flash handling. resolume has had flash 6+ swf playback with actionscript 3 communication for over 2 years now (since v. 3.1).

flash may be fading from the web, but i think it is still a very powerful media format for visualists. in resolume you can attach midi input and osc and stuff to control mechanisms for dynamic control of elements of the flash swf.

sure, the simple answer is "just use resolume if you love it so much", but i think within jitter this would be so much better.
