Been building a looping patch that is now becoming pretty big. I have been using an MPC or an Electribe as the clock source for everything including Max. I'm using some VST's and finding that as I change parameters Max is losing sync with the hardware but all loops in Max stay synced to each other. I was wondering if I use Max as the master clock will its clock output allow for the occasional heavy cpu usage that slows it down and retain sync with the machines?

Or for that matter any other ideas along the same line to keep sync locked tight???
