Max blogs – A la processing blogs

September 26, 2007 | 7:13 am

Would the community be interested in an aggregated Jitter and Max
blog – one where posts from aggregated blogs (members of this
community) tagged with Max or Jitter would be pulled into one
aggregate feed with a nice web, with links to the authors site etc?

Im sure most of you are doing interesting things and post them to
your sites, it might be nice to build a system like

http://www.processingblogs.org/

Id love to see what folks are up to, because there are many of us
doing many interesting things,

we cant let those silly processing users have *all* the fun, can we?

Just a thought.

p.s. mods, sorry for posting this to both lists, but I felt it
appropriate.

good idea Vade !
could also be opened to PD since there are a lot of similar projects going on in the pd community and it could be a good exchange place between the two communities.
the wiki you started could be somehow implemeted in the blog or implement the blog in the wiki or whatever fits anybody’s needs ( cycling74.com ? maxobjects.com ? ).

anyway i see how it could be a solid place for finding inspiration , doing research , getting the latest news on max/msp/jitter/softvns/pd related shows, events , researches etc…

Sounds like a job for yahoo pipes – http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/
if anyone has a list of blogs it should be done in no time.

yes, very easy to do using pipes – if you send me more blogs then I
will add them.

http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=Ksl_PNBw3BGGT_b6l7okhQ

It uses the category field from the RSS/Atom feed to filter out max/
jitter posts (category= maxmspjitter OR Max/MSP OR Jitter)

(right now it’s my site, vade’s site, and dan winkler’s site,
although he doesn’t seem to tag things as max/jitter much)

cheers
