- even if it is informal “C’est quoi ?” is very used and shorter.
- in europe, there is a space before the question mark “C’est quoi ?” rather than “C’est quoi?”.

Italian, German, Dutch, Hungarian, all the Scandinavian, all the Slavic languages… no space! niente! kein Leerraum! Spanish, of course, introduces interrogatory and exclamatory sentences with inverted punctuation marks, but still no space: ¡Hola!

I have books in about 40 different languages on my bookshelves (those who know me very well will know why:-) I can check to see if I can find any other examples, but TTBOMK French stands alone in this aspect of typography.
