Hi all,

unfortunatly my max programm crashes after running it a few minutes.
My console-output looks like that
Feb 3 21:54:32 fried-joe-3 [0x0-0x99099].com.cycling74.MaxMSP[2064]: sysmem_freeptr: trying to free bad ptr bffe7ed0

Does anyone have an idea how to read these log files?
Looks like it is related to to pattr-object, bffe7ed0 also could be a internal name of an buffer…

mac osx 10.5.6, max 505

I would be happy about any hint!
Thanks
Johannes

Hi,

here is a gesture recorder which I am using in my environment. If I dont use it, the program works fine. So I guess this is the bad boy.
To check out please start the help patch, start audio-engine, record some movements on the left side, stop recording, play back.
Unfortunatly this won’t cause a crash… it is only crashing in my whole environment and this is too big to attach (sorry).

Isn’t it like cyc has error-ids to look up to specify where / in which obj an error has occured?

Still thankful for any help
Johannes
