I´ve had this problem on another PC too… The Answer from MAX-MSP-Support: Delete Userdata…

Here are some Max-Userfiles… What files i´ve to delete, to starting Max?

But someone from C74 should probably confirm this.

If you’ve customized any of the pref files, save a copy, otherwise just start fresh.
