It's all very well when I'm there, and able to have my gear and perform the piece, but I'm looking to make it more 'portable', so other people can replicate the setup and therefore replace some third party plugins with M4L ones. It makes it all much simpler to zip up and package. Temporarily authorising a whole load of effects etc is a pain.

I'm using the modulation parameter of Waves supertap to modulate the pitch of the cello. I'm hoping someone can suggest a M4L replacement effect for this effect. I'm obviously happy to combine effects, I figured someone on the board would have some suggestions. Grateful for any input.

You don't even need m4l for this. Put a simple ableton Filter-, PingPong- or Simple-Delay into a track, right-click on the delay-device, choose Repitch instead of Fade (the default) as mode. Now, when you modulate/automate the delay-time you get your pitch-modulation.

Thanks David, just what I was looking for. I've mapped the re-pitch parameter to an LFO, and it gives me exactly what I was trying to accomplish.
