max kills all audio applications and have to reinstall the whole perative system

Something very strange is happening, while using max6 something happens and i cannot start max anymore/nor any other audio application,
is like the audio busses were corrupted. The solution is reinstall the whole operative system. The solution works for a while and then happens again. Cannot even start Runtime. Supercollider works for some reason an the audio players. Not live or reaper.
Any idea?
I was using Max6 for at least one week without any problem.

Perhaps something is locking your asio soundcard? (if you’re on windows, some soundcards cannot be used by more applications at the same moment when in asio mode)

Actually after multiple reinstalling the whole OS i discovered it is the F$%^& MIDI drivers (which i don’t need i discovered) for the KORG nano. They stall the whole audio applications at start-up when they look for MIDI devices, did not know max did that but probably there’s a MIDI search function at start-up// now it’s solved without installing the midi drivers..
Thanks a lot. Sorry for the panic.
Max is still a good boy :)
