MAX ->MOTO 828 Output not working

I just got MAX, and am trying it out, but i can’t seem to use my MOTU 828 MKII. When im using built in audio everything is fine, but when i try to select the 828 in “Driver” (under DSP Status), “Output Destination” wont allow me to choose any channels. The 828 is working fine with all other programs. I am on a G4 Powerbook.

Anything obvious i’m missing here?

you shouldn’t be able to select channels in output destination.
channels 1-8 should be active as soon as you enable the driver.

did you try sending sound out?

you can monitor your channel i/o’s with meterin/meterout from the extras menu.

My configuration is the same : MaxMSP+828+G4
I have to start the 828 before Max to get it in Max’s DSP.

hello
i have a g5 and 828mkII
i just use the dac~ object with 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 arguments you will get
all the outputs separately. i have never tryed to choose in dsp satus
