Max MSP Video Tutorial

June 1, 2009 | 6:13 pm

I’ve found some Max MSP Video Tutorials for Max MSP, and they look very good for any starter:

http://www.vimeo.com/groups/12375/videos
http://www.gamessound.com/tutorials.htm

Please post more good video tutorials if you’ve found any. The community appreciates it!

Cheers

ciperlone, glad to hear you like the tutorials. I got the idea when I started learning Blender and was watching Super3Boy’s youtube channel. There is something about following someone else that helps some of us learn.

I guess you know my youtube and vimeo videos are pretty much the same. Here is mrstebo’s video on using matrix~:

Great tutorials !

Thank you very much for your efforts !

Are you going to do a tutorial on FFT processing?

I would also be very interested in tutorials on clever ways to record chunks of audio into Ram, and play the procesed results like reversing and pitching etc in realtime, doing stuff that I normally would edit on a soundfile.

Cheers

Maybe I’ll do an fft tutorial right now. The only one I have thought about making is on motion-sensing, but maybe motion-sensing-based fft filter? Nah, I’ll keep it simpler.

Sounds good to me… I have the camera hooked up to a granular synth (munger1~) it would be good to have a bit of FFT in there as well.

Haven’t tried that out yet.

Jean-François Charles made a couple of videos demonstrating his Jitter/FFT patches:

to an aged post…. I’d love some more info on this FFT/filtering tutorial =)
