I'm building a patch where I use a Kinect for detecting people from above with frame differencing, and then control a moving head via dmx so that the spotlight will avoid the people. Nobody can be in the spotlight! Fun! :)

So everything works. Good. Except for that it is way too fast. I want the light too move quickly to a new position but then stay there until somebody wants to step in again. How I built the patch now is that when there is movement the spotlight (in the patch visualized as a jit.pictslider lower right corner) picks a random position from the jit.cellblock between certain values. But it is constantly doing that. How do I avoid that?

It is probably something really easy that I'm overlooking, but this is my second patch in Max and still have to get in to everything. Thanks!
